If you’re going to put a dead animal in your trunk, it’s a good thing to make sure the animal is actually dead. That’s a lesson a 59-year-old Wisconsin man hadn’t learned when he put the body of a deer he thought was dead after he hit it last week.
He planned to take it home for meat, but it woke up before he could make it home.

“The motorist contacted the Adams County Sheriff’s Department around 7:25 p.m. CT Thursday, and when Deputy Brian Loewenhagen arrived on the scene in Easton Township near Grand Marsh, Wis., about 7 miles southeast of the central Wisconsin communities of Adams-Friendship, his dashboard camera recorded the scene.”
The motorist was prepared to put the deer down when he realized it wasn’t dead, but a few seconds after he pulled it out of the trunk, it ran into the woods.
And, of course, we have to share this Tommy Boy classic!!
