Sometime getting rid of a stump isn’t in the budget – stump grinders are expensive. That doesn’t mean there aren’t options to get rid of them. This guy more or less creates a temporary outdoor stove by burning a freshly cut stump and making use of a smoke stack. Several hours and some roasted hotdogs later, the stump is nearly completely gone.
As easy as this process is, just make sure it’s a completely controlled burn, because root fires can burn underground for months at a time.
