Hitting a 100 mph fastball – with a baseball bat – is hard enough. There are major league baseball players who make millions of dollars that aren’t able to catch up to a pitch with that kind of heat on it.
Imagine hitting it with a katana. A katana you don’t unsheathe until you hit the ball.
Obviously, that’s pretty difficult.
But master swordsman Isao Machii makes it look easy.
The radar gun clocks the ball at 100 mph and Machii – using only a sword; there’s no trickery here – slices the ball in half from only 30 feet away.
