Black bear roams school halls, gets lost

A bear walks into a high school sounds like the set-up for a punchline. That wasn’t the case for Bozeman High School, Wednesday morning, when a black bear wandered into the school – possibly for mascot tryouts – and started roaming the halls.

Luckily no one was injured during this vicious roaming.

More than anything, the bear resembles a student (they’re just like us!) on their first day at a new school, slowly walking from door to door as they search for homeroom.

Local Bozeman police officers managed to chase the bear out of the school and are currently searching for its whereabouts.

The bear didn’t make an exit without answering the age old question concerning where they relieve themselves – finally!

“It left us a nice deposit,” Principal Kevin Conwell said.

It turns out bears go and do whatever they want.
