It didn’t take long for negative comments to come flying in after Buck Holly posted a video of his 4-year-old daughter firing a gun at a gun range in La Belle, Florida.
Holly, who owns a gun shop, was out with his daughter Noah when he let her take a few heavily supervised shots with a 223 caliber PRS Tac Rifle.
Noah clearly has some experience using the weapon, but her father never takes his hand off of the gun.
After hitting her target, her father gives her a congratulatory high-five before she takes another shot.
People immediately came back at Holly with criticism after he posted the video to his Facebook. They said everything from that she could’ve been injured and that she couldn’t even hold the gun herself so she shouldn’t be firing it.
Holly had this to say to his critics: “I would invite each and every one of (my critics) to come to the range with me and my family and participate in it.
“See how things really happen. They got to see a 30 second snippet of a little girl shooting. What they don’t see is the preparation that goes into it.
“They don’t see her asking and begging for more ammo. So I would tell my critics, feel free to criticize me. That’s our lifestyle. But before you criticize, come and try it and experience it for yourself.”
