A Florida fisherman got the catch of a lifetime last Tuesday. What he found on the other end of his line wasn’t a world fish either. He instead found an intoxicated 22-year-old woman who bit his fishing line and stole his lure.
It sounds incredibly bizarre, but that’s the call authorities received from the fisherman when they were called to come to St. Johns County Pier at 6 p.m. on August 15.
The woman in question, Alexandra Turner, 22, allegedly swam up to the fishing line and cursed at the fisherman before biting the line and swimming off with the lure.
Turner became hostile with police when she was asked to come to the pier office and she upset the “sense of public norm at the pier.” She wouldn’t let deputies handcuff her but was later arrested for disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence.
