These moose don’t like each other, at all. Their disdain for one another is so intense that they didn’t let something as inconvenient as a barbed wire fence stop their fight for supremacy.
The battle raged on from morning until afternoon, when one bull eventually got badly tangled up in the barbed wire and couldn’t continue the fight. He was later tranquilized so wildlife officials could save his life.
Either the other bull walked away untangled on pure luck, or he has experience using barbed wire fences to his advantage when challenging his enemies to a fight.
