This crazy horse proved that even predators aren’t always the top dog in nature on Wednesday at Paynes Prairie, near Gainesville. At first it looks like the wild horse randomly loses it’s mind when it quickly runs up to an alligator and starts kicking around and stomping on it. It even looks like the gator manages to take a decent bite at the horse.

Despite how random the attack looks at first, it becomes apparent by the end of the video that the horse was most likely getting the gator to move so a foal would have safe passage from the potential danger. This just might be the last time that gator makes the mistake of catching some rays near a family of horses.
