A rain bomb might sound like some weird explosive water device that might be found in the next Die Hard movie, but it’s actually a pretty incredible natural event.
Storm chaser, Bryan Snider, captured an incredible example of a ‘wet microburst’ (aka rain bomb) while filming in Tuscon, Arizona on August 8. This incredible force of nature covers no more than a couple of miles but can generate winds over 150mph in an explosive downward force.
