If there’s one certain thing in this world it’s that a deer will always run like crazy when surprised by a mountain lion — or basically anything else. That’s probably why this cougar was so confused when the decoy deer it was stalking didn’t budge.
You can see how the mountain lions behavior completely changes after it pounces and the deer doesn’t even flinch. Confused, the mountain lion investigates further and sniffs the decoy and it becomes apparent to it this isn’t the meal it was looking for.
We can relate to how confused this cougar is. This is basically our reaction everytime we see a guy in tight pants
