The Volcan de Tamasite, a huge vessel from the Naviera Armas’ fleet, recently smashed into a concrete barrier, coming to a complete halt in an instant. Fortunately for everyone on the opposite side of the barrier, it did its job and retained minimal damage – for a massive ship slamming into it at least.
The incident occurred in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Friday and is said to be the result of engine failure. Everyone on the ship has been accounted for after 13 people were treated at the scene and five were taken to hospitals.
