This is one of those unfortunate situations that happen in nature during this time of the year.
Two bucks were discovered locked up in a creek bed and on their last legs by a few men. As dangerous as the situation could end up, they decided to help and free the bucks.
They finally managed to free the bucks after working on them for a good half hour. Although neither sustained any injuries in the rescue process, only one buck ended up surviving.
“Nebraska Game and Parks says they were freed after about 30 minutes of work,” according to Bill Schammert with 1011 NOW. “One buck ran off and the other laid there in exhaustion. According to them, the second buck didn’t survive.”
