This shows just how fast an encounter with a grizzly can turn into an incredibly dangerous situation.
Casey Anderson, a filmmaker, was out recording when a momma grizzly with a cub decided he had gotten too close. She starts sprinting toward him as he gets his can of bear spray ready — the fence between them doesn’t look like it would have stopped much.
As soon as she’s within ranger, he sprays her which luckily causes her to run off. This entire encounter could’ve been a lot worse so it’s fortunate he was ready to react quickly and prevent the situation from getting any worse.
