Next time you see a cottonmouth, whatever you do, don’t film it unless you have a death wish!
A camera man ended up being chased by a particularly aggressive cottonmouth after he more than likely got a little too close. No matter how much the filmer backs away the snake keeps pursuing them.
It doesn’t look like anyone ended up getting hurt, which is fortunate since water moccasins tend to be incredibly aggressive once they’re angered.
Cottonmouths are a venomous snake species native to the southeastern U.S.—and this one does not like being filmed.
