As a record breaking snow storm hits the Washington DC area Sentinels from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) continue to stand guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, Virgnia. The Tomb Guards maintain a constant vigil at the Tomb no matter the weather conditions. The Old Guard has patrolled the monument nonstop since April 6, 1948. “These guys will be out in the snow, no matter what,” said Maj. Russell Fox.
