You know you have a serious angler on your hands when they care more about getting their fish than their own safety.
That’s the scenario we see here, as aussie anglers Dac Craig and his buddy Daniel are doing everything they can to bring in a huge barramundi on their line.
The barra had snagged up on some weeds while reeling it in, so Daniel was running around, trying to find a good angle to pull it free and bring it in. It turns out Dac and Daniel weren’t the only ones with their sights on the fish.
As soon as the fish gets free and gets pulled on shore, a massive croc is hot on its trail and chasing it down for an easy meal.
“He [Daniel] eventually got it free, and started slowly bringing it towards him, I think with a bit of weed still tangled up on it,” Craig says. “He started bringing the fish faster and faster towards the bank, but the croc sort of matched the speed.”
“Run back bro, run back!” Craig yells as the croc chases down and snatches up the fish.
“Oh no! The whole thing’s gone down his gob!” Craig continues to yell as he realizes the fish is gone. “Daniel, that was a beast of a fish.”
