Rescuer Fails to Rescue Surfer and Needs a Rescue of Their Own

Things look a little hairy for Brazilian surfer Pedro Viana and his attempting rescuer, Lucas Chianca, after he wiped out while trying to rescue the surfer. After Chianca picked Viana up on a jet ski, it looked like they were home free until they hit some rough water and capsized. They were in a hazardous part of Praia do Norte and kept getting hammered by fast incoming waves. Fortunately for them, surfer Everaldo Teixeira was able to rescue them both on separate trips and safely return them to shore.
