Timothy Stewart has faced backlash and amazement from commenters after posting a video online of him kayaking and swimming with an orca in a moment he dubbed the “orca waltz.”
As he approaches the orca on his kayak, he decides to jump out in a move that wasn’t a good idea for a number of reasons. Luckily for Stewart, his new friend was rather playful.
It certainly doesn’t look like the safest thing to do with a killer whale.
“Lucky they weren’t hungry he looks like a big slim seal. Crazy,” one user wrote.
Others reminded people that it’s illegal to swim get within 100m of an orca.
