YouTube user, Jason Asselin, claims to have caught footage of a ghost ship while visiting Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan. Jason claims there’s nothing that could possibly have been that tall in the choppy water. So…ghost, right? Doubtful.
Depending on the direction he was looking, YouTube user Gina Emily believes it could be the Granite Island Lighthouse. This sounds like a much more plausible explanation. Whether what was caught on video was actually the lighthouse or not, some workings of a Fata Morgana (a more complex mirage) appear to be at work and not a ghost ship.
