If there’s one truth in this world, it’s that people won’t stop trying their best to tackle seemingly impossible challenges and make us believe anything is possible.
British inventor Richard Browning is well on his way to making the impossible, possible with his latest invention – a flight suit that looks like it’s straight out of Iron Man.
Granted today is April 1st, so there’s a strong dose of skepticism to anything that pops up on the day for fool’s. Either way, we’re going to go ahead and hope for the best because this would be way better if it were actually true.
The idea starts out simple enough. Browning builds and straps miniature turbine engines onto his body and slowly adds more in order to get the proper lift, all the while adding body armor and improved fuel tanks along the way. If there’s one thing we learned during this entire video, it’s that flying ain’t easy, and just because you have the technology, mastering that technology and learning to use it is something else entirely.
Every great invention starts somewhere. We’re looking forward to see where Browning takes his creation to in the future. He may only be hovering a few feet off the ground now, but in time, we’re hoping to see some epic high-speed flight footage.
