One of the worst things a hunter can go through is to spend time watching a good sized buck they’re hoping to harvest, only to have it be killed by something or someone else.
That’s exactly the scenario this hunter stumbled upon after he found a dead four-year-old buck he had been keeping track of on his trail camera. The deer had apparently been in the wrong place at the wrong time and had been crushed by a falling tree.
This is a pretty bizarre and tragic find. The chances of that happening have to be incredibly slim, which have some questioning the authenticity of this find.
Did the tree fall and kill it? Did the deer die and have a tree fall on it after the fact? Or was it staged?
