Everyone has their own opinion about using traps to catch fish. Some will watch this video and enjoy it for what it is, while others will complain that it’s not real fishing.
Trapping fish is illegal in most cases in the states and it requires proper licensing and monitoring to make sure you aren’t catching the wrong type of fish.
While rod and reel fishing is the preferred method for many of us, there are cases where this particular trap seems like it could be particularly effective — mainly in cases where people are fishing for survival and not fun.
