It’s always refreshing to find out a celebrity and the creator of the most popular social media platform on the planet is a hunter and outdoorsman at heart. That’s right, Mark Zuckerberg loves to hunt (when he can) and says he got into it around 5 years ago.
From the looks of where he’s at (in his backyard, smoking a brisket) it looks like he’s an outdoorsman at the core of him.
Mark responded when he was asked if he hunted: “Yeah, I hunt. It’s a good way to feel connected to nature.” He went on to say, “If you’re going to eat meat, you should get to know where it comes from.”
Understanding what you’re eating, where it came from and the role you and your meal play in the food chain is important. It keeps you grounded in reality and appreciative of what you eat when you eat it.
“Things taste better when you cook them yourself, but they taste doubly better when you’ve hunted the animal yourself,” Zuckerberg said during the video.
That they do, Mark. That they do.
