Not only is this the first time anyone has observed tiger sharks and a saltwater crocodile scavenging a whale, it’s the first known record of a saltwater crocodile even eating a whale!
Even though both of these species are apex predators, they’re able to eat from the whale without going after each other.
Now, once that food source runs out things might go a little differently!
