There aren’t many things a Jack Russell Terrier can’t do. It turns out we can now add being a cowboy/cowgirl to that list.
Dally the JRT is more likely to be found riding on the back of her buddy Spanky than she is to be running around on her own. That’s because this horse-riding dog is trying her best to live out a life worthy of the old west.
Their friendship started after Spanky was training after being rescued by a ranch. He was aggressive and overweight when they started, but he quickly warmed up to everyone, thanks to his training.
A big part of that was Dally. She would watch Spanky train everyday and eventually she decided to hop on his back one day and hasn’t looked back since.
Now, the duo can be seen performing at the rodeo as they travel and show off what they can do.
