We’ve seen squirrels all of our lives. Whether it be running up trees, chasing each other around, running from cats or nibbling on acorns, they’ve always been natures most lovable rodent. What we didn’t know is that all those running games must’ve just been practice for when they finally caught what was running from them.
It’s not that seeing a squirrel eating a mouse is all that terrifying in concept, it’s just the way it eats it. It looks just like all those times they eat acorns…except it’s bloody and there’s a dead animal in their hands and this particular squirrel is just so nonchalant and proper about it, that it makes it that much more bizarre to witness
