Rip Curl’s latest video, ‘Comfortably Numb,’ reminds me why I’m not a surfer who constantly pushed the envelope. Because doing that gets you in situations where your surfing in ice cold water as boulder size chunks of ice threaten to crush and shred you to pieces. Filmed in Alaska, the short film features pro’s Mick Fanning and Mason Ho as they battle the elements in the search for what surfing offers.
