Nature isn’t always kind to the animals that inhabit it. That was certainly the case after these three deer were stranded on a frozen lake for several days.
Unable to get any traction to stand up or move, they had no hope of going anywhere anytime soon. If they didn’t get help quick, they wouldn’t make it much longer.
Fortunately, some men nearby saw they needed help and used an airboat to slowly drag them back to a nearby shore. One by one the three deer were taken to safety.
Even once on land, they weren’t able to stand or move very far on their own. After being stranded for so long they had nothing left in the tank. The rescuers stuck around long enough for the deer to regain some strength and finally walk off on their own.
