Video : Dramatic Coast Guard Rescue Of 3 People While Boat Sinks Off Steinhatchee, Florida

Coast Guard crews rescued three people, after their boat sank 23 miles west of Steinhatchee River, Florida, on December 30, 2014. The 3 men attempted to save the boat for 10-15 minutes after it began taking on water, and then contacted the Coast Guard. The water temperature was 59-degrees, and hypothermia had set in for all 3 men at the time of the rescue. Aircrews from an HC-130 Hercules and an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter joined together to save the three men. The Coast Guard was stationed out of Clearwater, Florida.
