A spear fisherman during the Gene Cloud Memorial Spearfishing Tournament hops in to shoot a bonita from a school of bait. Immediately after shooting the bonita a group of curious sharks decide they wanted the bonita more.
“I told him it was a bad idea,” the anglers teammate said. “He didn’t listen. I think he learned his lesson!”
After the initial scary moments the angler swam as far away as fast as possible. “We came up from our dive and he had swam about a half mile from the boat!”
No one was harmed in the making of this video, except one bonita which was ripped to shreds by the school of ravenous sharks.
