Boulder County deputies will not soon forget their recent run in with a creature that has the ability to nearly completely twist its head around. No, this isn’t The Exorcist. The Colorado deputies were driving along a road near a local camp ground when they discovered what turned out to be a baby Northern Saw-whet Owl, a tiny bird that measures around 8-inches when fully matured.
Luckily for the deputies, the encounter went off without incident, as the owl flew off after a few minutes, allowing them to pass.
