Apparently, the Dutch Navy has had enough with the Somalian pirates, and they’re doing something about it – with force.

From EuroSon99’s Youtube page:
Greetings from Amsterdam. Support Our European Union forces! Over 200 hostages have now been directly rescued by EU Naval defense forces under operation EU Nafvor. EU Nafvor also named operation Atalanta has been the largest force patrolling Somalian waters the passed 5 years. Hundreds of new pirate attacks have been stopped. And piracy has since dropped by over 95%. Contrary to some in the comments section these are all EU navies and non of these are exercises. There is no single EU navy but EU navies here work together under operation EU Navfor (check the website EU Navfor). It has been the biggest navy force in stopping piracy for the past many years. The actual footage of operations in this video are mostly from the Dutch navy. And some from the Spanish and Italian navies. EU Nafvor also involves the Germans, British, French and other EU navies. Footage of parts of these operations like the Dutch Navy EU nafvor operations are also available on other media shows like on Foxnews
