The rut is real for this buck. After being saved from being locked-up with a dead buck (you can see him at the bottom corner of the screen when the video starts) he shows no signs of backing down and chooses to stand his ground. As the guys in the video continue to try and make him run off, he gets more agitated by the second until he finally charges. Luckily for everyone involved, they managed to not get gored. It’s impossible to know what a buck will do during the rut, when his testosterone levels skyrocket. Avoiding close-up encounters like this is always a good idea.
