If it wasn’t obvious that approaching a U.S. Navy ship that has made it clear you need to turn around, then this clip should show just how serious those warnings are.

The USS Thunderbolt can be seen firing warning shots at an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard patrol vessel as it continues to approach, despite having received radio calls, flares and the ship’s whistle, warning it to stop its approach.

The vessel had gotten within 150 yards of the Thunderbolt before the warnings escalated into warning shots. The confrontation can be seen from the deck of the Thunderbolt in the first part and the second part shows it filmed from a distance by another ship.
