Snow leopards are notoriously elusive and finding one in nature is about as close to finding a unicorn as you can get. So imagine these the surprise of these skiers when one of them discovers one laying down in the snow after nearly running it over.
Australian man, Owen Lansbury was skiing in Kashmir’s Gulmarg when he noticed his tour guide got awfully close to hitting something in front of him. Upon further inspection, he realized he was looking at a snow leopard partially buried in the snow.
After freaking out at the rare sighting and some confusion of what to do next, the 35-year-old watched as the snow leopard lept out of the snow and bounded down the mountain in the direction of the tour guide.
