First-time meetings can be tough; especially when the unfamiliar thing you’re meeting is several times your size.

Spot and Stripe are two tiger cubs that have never had any interaction with adult tigers, so being accepted by the adult tigers at the sanctuary is crucial in order for them to be able to live there.

After interacting with the adults on multiple occasions through a glass panel, Giles Clark, a tiger expert and Head of Big Cats at Australia Zoo, thinks it’s time they met face-to-face.

Since big cats can easily harm smaller cats that they aren’t familiar with, this is an important interaction.

Fortunately, it looks like the cubs manage to win favor with the adult tiger, meaning they just found their new home.
