It’s not every day you come face to face that could swallow you and your buddies whole. This group of guys managed to reel in an absolutely massive hammerhead, measuring 13-feet-long. They took their chance to snap a few pictures before cutting the line and letting the sea beast be on its way – all off a beach!

SANIBEL, Fla. – Three Florida fisherman have a great catch to brag about.
The anglers snagged a 13-foot hammerhead shark last week off the shore of Sanibel. The friends caught the shark about 200 yards off the beach using a stingray as bait. Between the three of them, it took 30 minutes to reel in the hammerhead. The men took the shark into knee-deep water so they could cut the line and send it on its way.
