Drones are a pretty incredible modern invention. They allow everyday people to catch incredible footage from perspectives that would’ve been impossible to achieve without significant costs only a few years ago. The only downside to the drones of today is that they’re pretty loud and unwanted loud noises typically annoy anyone who happens to be in the nearby vicinity. Those propellers have also been responsible for some pretty gnarly injuries.
That’s where the bladeless drone comes in. The Herrera Bladeless Drone from Mexico’s Edgar Herrera brings us a drone that eliminates loud noises and exposed blades. There’s just one catch — it’s only a concept at this point and there are no known production dates planned.
Could the bladeless drone actually work in the real world or will its bladeless design hold it back from being able to compete with other manufacturers? Only time will tell. We’ll be ready to see what this thing can do if and when this thing hits the skies.
