Volkswagen may have outdone themselves with their latest futuristic vehicle. The California XXL promises to take you on the road and keep you there in style. The XXL is actually closer to a tiny house on wheels than anything else with all the amenities it offers.
A cross between the old school Volkswagen bus and an RV from the future, this camper features a bed that’s heated and cooled, kitchenette, and a living area. It also features a pop-up roof for an additional 7.2 feet of headspace, a retractable wet room, and underfloor heating.
The coolest feature may just be the panoramic roof, which is the perfect area for stargazing no matter where you are.
The van also features an expandable bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet, as well as a kitchen with a sink, gas stove, fridge and an espresso machine. The kitchen countertops even transform into X-shaped burners.
VW even created an app that can control nearly everything in the van. The lighting, skylight and entertainment system can all be adjusted through your phone.
What’s the worst part about the California XXL? It’s not yet available in the United States, so we’ll just have to wait and hope.
