If you’ve ever wondered how many rounds it would take to melt a Glock but you’d rather not ruin your own gun to find out, then Eric of Iraqverteran8888 has you covered. In the video he runs round after round through a fully automatic Gen 3 Glock 17 and the results don’t disappoint.
The Glock takes a serious dose of abuse, but it does finally malfunction…after shooting a total of 40 mags and 1,272 rounds. So a Glock will eventually melt if you shoot it enough times consecutively, but in a real world scenario, there’s no situation in which you’d burn through 1,200 rounds using a Glock, much less be able to carry that much ammo.
