Even though blowing stuff up with Tannerite has the potential to be the last thing you ever do, people still make some dumb choices when choosing what to blow up and what distance to do it at. Many times, the difference between these incidents being a close call and a fatal accident can be measured in inches and is the result of sheer luck.

This was an insanely close call. If it weren’t for that tree partially blocking him, he would’ve been done for. Unfortunately, a small tree isn’t an acceptable shield when trying to survive a fridge door-sized piece of shrapnel, so it’d be best not to rely on it to save your life if you can help it.
