Marine fisheries biologist, Greg Skormal, was on a tagging trip in Massachusetts when he received the shock of a lifetime.
Skormal was standing on the bow of the ship when a shark leaped from the water right below him with its mouth wide open. While he’s had countless experiences with sharks, he’s never experienced anything quite like this.
“Did you see that? Did you see that?” he says after the shark had just been inches away from him.
All we can say is that this looked a little to close for comfort!
