Finding yourself surrounded by 15 great white sharks is never a situation you want to find yourself in. But that’s just what paddle boarders heard from the loudspeaker on a helicopter while out in the water off Capistrano Beach in Orange County on Wednesday.
Everyone in the vicinity was told to exit the water in a calm manner because the sharks were as close as the surfline.
A group of ten other great white sharks were spotted off the coast of Long Beach later that evening.
With this much shark action in the span of a single day, the California coast won’t be our chosen location for a beach vacation anytime soon!
Announcements were made near San Onofre and Capo Beach this afternoon after Duke captured video footage of approximately 15 sharks in the water.
