The ocean is deep. That’s not exactly earth shattering news. We all know the ocean is deep, but just how deep is it? Let’s just say that if Mt. Everest were tipped upside down into the deepest point, it’d still be short about a mile and a half. The ocean is so insanely massive that we’ve only explored 5% to 10% of its depths. In a day and age where it feels like there’s not much mystery left to discover on earth, the ocean still causes a great sense of wonder for anyone that explores its depths.
