Bow kills don’t get any better than this!
After waiting around for four days for this impressive elk to show up, Travis (the hunter) finally gets his chance when it comes to wallow. He waits patiently for the perfect opportunity to land his shot, waiting for over a minute with his 65lb bow fully drawn to land his fixed blade broadhead.
After a few moments, the elk turns, perfectly exposing his side and Travis doesn’t hesitate as he releases the arrow. The bull manages to run for about 10-15 yards before slowing down and dropping after covering a total of about 30 yards from where he got shot.
A clean bow kill like this is every hunter’s dream. There’s nothing like the rush of seeing an animal drop immediately after taking your shot.
