To say every single decision Trump makes is put under a giant microscope of scrutiny is putting it extremely lightly. So it’s no surprise that his decision to nominate Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the seat of Justice Antonin Scalia on the United States Supreme Court has face both high praise and extreme backlash.
We for one approve the nomination. Gorsuch is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish and ski, all of which are awesome things that involve enjoying nature and this great country. Loving the outdoors alone may not qualify him for such a high position, but respecting nature is always a plus.
It remains to be see how Garsuch rules on Second Amendment cases, but from his love for hunting, it doesn’t sound like we have to worry about our rights being infringed upon from his corner.
All in all he seems like a great pick to replace Scalia on the bench, keeping the Supreme Court leaning more conservative than liberal.
