Humpback whales are friendly, maybe the friendliest animal in the world.

When Michael Feshbach discovered a young humpback whale tangled up in fishing nets, he thought it was already dead. After a quick investigation he discovered this wan’t the case and the helpless creature needed an assist.

The rescuers knew they had to act fast as they labored to free to whale. Once they brought the whale – they named her Valentina – back from the brink of death, they were rewarded by quite the spectacle as Valentina made several breeches and tail flips
