This is the terrifying moment a fisherman from Chongqing, China becomes trapped in the middle of a river during a flash flood. The man was able to find temporary safety on top of two rocks in the middle of the river that allowed him to not be swept away.

Luckily for him, rescue workers were quick to act, rigging up a zip line in order to safely get him across the Yangtze river. Once the line is set up, a life jacket and ring are passed along to the man. When he puts on the flotation devices, the workers begin pulling him in. With the help of both civilians and firefighters, they manage to haul him in, erupting into a loud cheer as he sets foot on land.
