Walking on glass suspended nearly 4,000 feet over a valley is scary enough without having to worry about it shattering underneath your feet. Apparently, the creators of an 872-foot glass walkway in East Taihang Mountains, Handan City in North China, didn’t think so and decided to add a feature that made unknowing visitors think they were about to plummet to their death.
It’s clear this tourist is one of the unsuspecting visitors who hasn’t heard of the new special effect. As soon as the glass starts “cracking” his legs go limp as he stumbles and falls.
Management says the panels are checked every day by workers to ensure they’re safe to walk on. We’ll just have to take their word on it.
