It’d be easy to fall into a depressed state and focus on how bad everything is in the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey, but this Houston family is making the most out of an awful situation and finding joy at their ability to fish in their home.
It sounds crazy, but a man can be seen on video as he’s searching the water inside his flooded home as his family helps to point him in the right direction of a fish. After reaching into the water and pulling the fish out, the man can be seen smiling as he holds the fish and his family laughs off camera.
There’s no denying this family and the entire city are in a horrible situation that was caused by forces out of their control, but their resilience in the face of these adverse circumstances is truly inspiring.
